Let's look at the simple mathematics of it . . .





There are about 300 million Americans. Let's assume that half of them are able to hold a job (eliminate anyone under 18, retirees, handicapped, etc..) That means that there are about 150 million people available to the workforce. 5 million/150 million = 3%. Does this mean that three percent of the population will be employed by this new amazing technology? I hardly think so.





Here's another statistic for comparison. There are approximately 6.2 million teachers in the US %26lt;%26gt;.http://www.census.gov/hhes/www/eeoindex/...


Is Obama trying to say that this new technology will produce almost as many jobs as teaching? I hardly think so.
