What is your favorite household cleaner; Do you use one cleaner or do you have a cleaner for each job?

Kitchen %26amp; Bath: Comet %26amp; Clorox,

Woodwork: Murphy's Oil Soap

Windows and Glass: "Original" Windex

Laundry: "Original" Tide, Clorox and Downy.

I have tried every new product (Kaboom, Oxyclean, etc) that comes out and I still stick with these "old" ones. I find that for the price and the cleaning power, nothing beats them!

i use lysol in the kitchen and to disinfect the plastic toys, i use 3 different products in the bathroom and then i alternate between dusting stuff and swiffering the furniture
Reply:I like pledge multisurface
Reply:Windex for the glassy surfaces and mirrors....Lysol (yellow Liquid) for the toilet and bathroom...smells refreshing and is not harsh to inhale as some of the others like Clorox Clean-Up which makes my nostrils runny and I get short of breath if I inhale too much....
Reply:i love trying out new cleaning products. i have to say i have yet to find one that just amazes me. i usually end up using different cleaners for different jobs. always use windex for mirrors/windows. use lysol toilet bowl cleaner and mostly lysol sprays. i would love to be able to find a good product that really cleans my bathroom counter tops well. i have wondered about making up my own cleaning agents from stuff around the house so they are environmentally friendly. i question how effective they are, but i guess there'd no harm in trying.
Reply:I love Woolite Oxy-Clean for carpets and upholstery. I live in Georgia, so one of my absolute favorites is Krud Kutter Red Clay Remover. This works great on dirt, especially on laundry. You get it at Lowes. And I couldn't live without my Magic Eraser or my Swiffers. For general cleaning, I like Lysol products, especially that toilet bowl stuff.
Reply:Holy Cow- it's pink, totally safe around animals and its cheap! I buy it at the grocery store %26amp; Wal-Mart great on countertops, stainless steel, shower/tubs(they also make a blue Holy Cow for windows)
Reply:Well apart from the floors I only use one house cleaner. It麓s a kind of a natural stone cleaner cream , wet sponge add cream and off comes the dirt or stains , I use it for cleaning many thing麓s such as , Silver comes up great, Stainless Steal, my kitchen appliances are looking as new as the day I bought them , It cleans Copper, Brass, Bronze Gold, almost all metals, Great for cleaning the bathroom gets rid of that limescale, it even cleans widows. and many other things , I think all households should have this in their homes , Plus I save a lot of money just with this one product , not sure if you can find this where you live but I麓m sure you can find something similar in the big stores or hardware stores . Let me give you the web site for the product I use, It麓s www.promonov.com If you click on the product Perlglanz Putzetien it will take you to the next page which you can then find the explanation in English , yo will see a list of languages on the right hand side , there is also an email address on the first page should you wish to write and find out more about this product . Just to let you know I am not a sales person just a normal housewife, just like to tell all how good this cleaning product is and for me it麓s the best thing since sliced bread
Reply:i love scrub free, its a scrubless foam that you spray into your tub and it takes away even the greasiest grease from your tub. i use several cleaners depending on the job.
Reply:My favorite multi-purpose cleaner is Lysol Wipes. They smell better than Clorox and can be used on anything.

For the bathroom, I went through many many cleaners trying to find something to clean the grout between the tile in my shower. Nothing worked, no matter how much it claimed that it did. Then I tried Kaboom. That stuff is awesome! It doesn't have a harsh smell and I don't have to scrub hard to get the guck off the grout. :-)
