I need java script to log in on my jobs website where can i download it without downloading a registry cleaner

Yes, this is good.After using a registry cleaner you\'re going to need spyware protection to get rid of the main source of registry errors which is... spyware. Just to be on the safe side, run this program after you run your registry cleaner. It will help out immensely preventing future registry errors.%26lt; http://pcleaner.info/reg %26gt;

Should a young woman apply for a job to clean air ducts and dryer vents?

The job says 800/week, will train. It looks perfect... except i'm a girl.
Should a young woman apply for a job to clean air ducts and dryer vents?
If you are okay with doing that, then more power to you! If you meet the qualifications, and they don't hire you, it could be discrimination.

They may require you to be able to lift a certain amount of weight though. Get all the info. Why not apply?
Reply:Well legally, if you're able to do the work, they shouldn't discriminate in giving you the job. However, I would advise against it, because it probably means going into strange homes alone, and it's just a sad fact that women are more susceptible to kidnap, rape, torture, and all that lovely stuff. I believe this is why the job is still mostly done by men...it's even the case with pizza delivery.
Reply:do you think you can do the job ? if so then apply so what if you are a girl ?
Reply:Hell, I might even apply myself!!

Good luck.
Reply:a job is a job. there shouldnt be any heavy lifting and at 800/week you go girl

Ive been trying to get a summer job, id really love cleaning or babysitting any advice on getting known?

I have a program in my word processing software that makes fliers for posting -- they even have little tabs at the bottom with my name and phone number ... you have to cut them so interested people can easily tear them off. That would be a good way to get started.

Is it possible to find a job (like cleaner/ janitor) in NYC without speaking English?

I thought not speaking english was a pre requisit ;)
Is it possible to find a job (like cleaner/ janitor) in NYC without speaking English?
If he is legally able to work in the US, maybe he can sign on with a temp agency. They often have labor jobs and I believe some have an interpreter for the people who cannot speak. You will have to call around and ask for him.

Does he understand English? Because maybe someone can accompany him to an interview and then he can take the job based on understanding directions.

It is not going to be easy, but at least he wants to work. That is more than a lot of people want.
Reply:I think not speaking is required some jobs. I`ve never meet a guy behind a subway counter who could speak english. But if your gonna move here and work, maybe picking up alittle english would be good.

But if you don;t know english make sure you know spanish!
Reply:well, your question got two spam answers and a racist one so far.

but i'm sure there are. good luck. but make sure you have the proper work authorization.

Anyone know of a product or a technique that makes cleaning artificial plants a quick and easy job? Thanks!?

Turn on your faucet. Put a little plain shampoo, liquid soap or dishwashing detergent on your hand. Run the silk flower under the faucet and let it good and wet. Now "shampoo" it with your soap. Rinse. Shake off the excess water. You're done.

If you have a bunch of flowers to clean just put the water and soap together in a bucket or your sink and swish the flowers in the soapy water. Rinse and let dry.
Anyone know of a product or a technique that makes cleaning artificial plants a quick and easy job? Thanks!?
Cover the plants with a paper bag, add 1/8 cup of salt, squeeze the open end closed and shake the bag for a minute. This will remove the dust.

Do not use water. If any exposed steel is exposed it will rust.
Reply:usuing a spray bottle filled with water makes artificial plants look clean, shiny, and new.

I'm lookin for a job in cleaning. What's the best web site!!!!?

Instead of looking for a job which obviously you like, why not start a small cleaning business of your own.

Give it a try, place an ad in the newspaper or pass the idea around among friends, and family then see what happens.

Good luck.
I'm lookin for a job in cleaning. What's the best web site!!!!?
have u check Monster.com or Yahoo Jobs? They might help. Although people who have their own cleaning business have made good money.
Reply:check the yellow pages there are hundreds of jobs in recruitment...
Reply:If you're in a city, you can look for employment opportunities and also post your availabilty online on Craigslist. Local/neighborhood newspapers probably have classifieds online, too. Also put signs on notice message boards in grocery stores, childcare and healthcare facilities, and just tell everyone you know that you are available.
Reply:do it for yourself and do it under the table

word of mouth is the best way to start

check local newspaper for employment
Reply:Go on Monster.com, Hotjobs, com and Careerbuilder. Those are3 very good sites to go on.
Reply:I'd put a paper on the bulletin board in a teacher's lounge. They always look for cleaning people.
Reply:Honestly to make good money cleaning you would have to be self employed. Try postings in your local area. You will get responses and of course word of mouth is always good. I know many women who do this type of work and make approx $200 to $300 a day. Others who work for an agency or company can only make about $100.00 daily.

Good luck!

Can a person who is not a citizen of canada clean someones house or do other side jobs get in trouble?

If they have a visa that allows work it's OK, such as a Tn or permanent resident.

If it's a visitors visa, student, or no visa, then they can't even legally get a case of beer for helping you move. Any form of compensation for any kind of work is considered illegal.

im not a ctizen of canada and i fear getting deported all the time only thing i do is keep my mouth shut and if they ask to see a sin card just tell them minor details about your situation but for me i paint and i make 15 dollars an hour and i work full time 40 hours a week but yeah even tho im american i just keep my mouth shut

but as he said above keep a low profile, and get paid cash

Lots of Canadians are working for cash to avoid the taxes, so no big difference.

Do you think i should try and get the cleaning ladys job back after... ?

im an office supervisor for a large sales firm in the NW United States, i stayed late at my office last week and somehow ended up hooking up with the lady, who is a cute foreign lady i see everyday and always exchange glances with, she speaks like 9 words of english, luckily one of them was yes. we broke my desk in the whole ordeal and i didnt notice til the next morning when i came in and found out the cleaning lady got fired for "destruction of property." they said she was trying to cover it up on the phone for some reason, so they fired her. i feel responsible and know she didnt know how to explain her situation in english, but if i confess to help her, my girlfriend, who is friends with my coworkers, will definitely find out.

should i just lie and hope she doesnt ever find out or dump her and move on?
Do you think i should try and get the cleaning ladys job back after... ?
id say ship that sloot back to her homeland.....well have at least 10 more come in anyways.....try to get her number tho just in case you wanna go on a field trip and bone in another country.....if she is mexican she would also most certainly be a good burrito maker....just an FYI from personal experience
Reply:You cheat on your gf, break YOUR desk, then allow the cleaning lady to take the fall making her life even more difficult. How easy do you think it will be for this woman who doesn't speak English, to get another job?

Don't be more of an asshole than you already are. Do the right thing.
Reply:Sir, you are not a gentleman unless you help this woman out.

What you did was bad enough, if you have a committed relationship with your girlfriend. Having the poor cleaning woman take the heat is the act of a scoundrel and coward.

In any case, HOW the desk was broken is unnecessary information for your supervisors. Say YOU broke the desk, and it is not the cleaning woman's fault at all. That is the truth. End of story. If the details do come out, then stand up like a man and face the consequences.

dont say a word u will loose ur girl and ur job and for what a 1 nighter with someone who done belong in this country she can find another job that pays 5 bucks an hour let it go bro

Which is a more respectable job: working for the media, or cleaning toilets in the homeless shelters?

Maybe Katie Couric can get some self respect back if she does some toilet cleaning for a few years. Bus station would be better.
Which is a more respectable job: working for the media, or cleaning toilets in the homeless shelters?
Never make fun of workers. The war is with the globalists.

Make fun of the system that put people in horrid and humiliating situations -- the homeless, those who work in adequate shelters, and those under the gun of of the corporate media.

Empathy for people is the only way.
Reply:Either is fine. In fact, you could volunteer in a homeless shelter, in your spare time. That way, you'd be serving the populace in two ways.
Reply:Well, it depends on how you operate if you work for the media. For the most part though, definitely cleaning toilets.

So i need to make some more money

i would like to know how much people make to clean apartments after they have been vacated

if you could give me an estimate or the real deal that'd be great

thanks so much
Cleaning apartments-- job help?
It's either you have to charge per room or per hr. I see alot of those around here in San Diego, CA. Most of them are per room. Like $25.00 per room.
Reply:It varies by location. Some charge by the square foot. Some by the hour and others a set rate per room, charging more for the kitchen.

Suggest you time how long it takes you to thoroughly clean a room and charge by the hour. by me the rate goes from 15 to 25 per hour

Be careful if you try making money online.

Job to clean up unnecessary files in computer disk?

There's a job running on the computers of one of our local net cafe which cleans up all the data stored on C drive by the guests. It deletes all the files stored by ppl logged in as guests when system is restarted.

Can you guys help me schedule a job similar to that ?
Job to clean up unnecessary files in computer disk?
u need to have a defintion of unnecessary files for ur job.

For eg in cybercafe they delete all the temp / profile specific data related to the user acount guest. this is done by specifying the path of the folders and files to be deleted in the job

When u doing the same thing to ur pc - u need to be very careful if u really want to do that. u cud inadvertantly delete some useful data that u just happened to save in the wrong place (folders u have marked for deletion in job)

for ur home comp i'd recommend doing it urself periodically. and i don't think it is that big a task. just keep deleting ur browser history, cookies, temporay internet files, autocomplete history (all this u can do from internet tools-%26gt; options) and C:\windows\temp folder regularly

for other files/ data u might have accumulated on ur mac i guess the best and possible way is to fish out useful ones and delete the rest urself.
Reply:Hi,

They probably have some expensive software running which locks out certain areas of the system, or logs what's been moved around.

The simplest way is to just create a limited user account and delete it at the end of the day then create another of the same name afterwards.

If it's just a case of cleaning out your own temporary files then just create a blank .txt file on your desktop. Edit it to read something like:-

@echo off

del "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Temp\*.*"

del "C:\Windows\Temp\*.*"

...Save it, rename it as "Delete Temp.bat" or something similar. Put it in your windows folder and create a shortcut to it in the Startup menu.

Everytime Windows starts up it'll run the bat(ch) file and delete all files in the folders where you specify *.*.

Hope this helps.
Reply:Dear , you can install ace utility software, which cleans ups your computer and you can get rid of unnecessary files and data.

Below link may help you out.
Reply:You could probably achieve the same effect by keeping one system restore point and reverting back to it after the computer is used.

Or just find out the process name and google it.

OR - I'd personally just ask the cafe attendant which program or process they use.
Reply:Use MS Steady State (and it's free)

Once installed it will prevent changes to the system, period.

Which would u choose....existing cashier job with a lot of cleaning to do OR?
It all depends what you want to do and what the potential for moving up is. If this is a temp position, then you'd be crazy for taking a lower salary. If this is your career, on the other hand, then you need to look at the potential for advancement. The cashier job pays more, but will you be promoted in the future? Will you make more? What about the clerk job?
Reply:Depends on what you want to do and if you will be bored. Long term, will the other raise more quickly in pay and make it worth it or will it always pay less? Ask them some questions along that general area to help you decide.

Can someone share the best cleaner in the market that really will do the job to clean old bathtub with stains?

Will appreciate an answer.
Can someone share the best cleaner in the market that really will do the job to clean old bathtub with stains?
Definitely "Comet". The old time powder with beach in it. It works great and is the only thing I use in my shower and tub.

Oh, and it's cheap too!
Reply:Comet or bleach water. I've used it for yrs.. %26amp; my mom used it %26amp; my gram...
Reply:"barkeepers friend" and a scrub brush. LOVE that stuff!
Reply:Fill it with water pour in bleach and let it stand for awhile
Reply:Have you tried full strength household bleach? Watch your hands though.
Reply:I am wondering the same thing. Do not use comet on fiberglass! And the bleach water thing didn't work on mine. My issue is the built-in traction that has all the dirt. I will try Soft Scrub with bleach next time. Let it sit, then rinse. It's not abrasive like comet and it worked well removing stains out of my old fiberglass kitchen sink. It works on other surfaces, too. Good luck.

products. One day after cleaning I felt like the chemicals were in my throat and I began to loose my voice. I tried vicks vapor rub and tylanol cold but it only helped for a little while. I started to get a fever of about 101.0 and sweat in my sleep. I went to the doc and they gave me penicillin and told me I had a sinus infection. I took the medicine and I felt better. Can you get a sinus infection from cleaning products. I had a job cleaning houses and used a lot of cleaning?
an infection is caused by a virus or bacteria. if you think that you've irritated your sinuses, get rid of the products, drink lotsa water, and follow up with your doctor.
Reply:chemicals are irritants you cant get an infection from them but the dirt and dust you were cleaning can cause it.

A way for More Jobs + cleaner Environment?

Now I don't know if this is already happening somewhere and I just don't know about it, but I think I've thought of a "new" idea regarding the issue: What if we simply hire people to work at a "trash plant" (you know, where the dumpsters take the goods) sorting through the mess salvaging anything recylable.

It bugs me that I take my trash and recylcing out (collective metal trash recepticle outside my building) and someone has thrown away a large cardboard box, instead of placing it in the recycle bin next to it.

It seems like this could do a lot of good in places where employment is low not to mention the effect this would have on out environment; What do you think?

Looking for a Job as a cleaning lady in St.Petersburg Florida?

My friend and I want to get into a cleaning business and i was woundering if anyone knows how we could get started on it.
Looking for a Job as a cleaning lady in St.Petersburg Florida?
YES I think I can help, go to apartment complexes, condos, townhomes etc. go to the office with a flyer with all u do. Make sure u do ur homework cleaning can be a great business, apts.always are looking for a good and reliable cleaning service, but dont take on more work than u can do, u have to start out slow, remember most companies pay their contractors and vendors monthly. If u grow u will have to hire more people to clean, than your main responsibility will be checking their work, making sure all is up to par, thats the biggest problem with cleaning services, they over extend themselves the cleaning is not as good and thats how they lose jobs and their company, being consistant and reliable is my best advice. One more thing ck. on what the going rates r on apts 1brm 2 brm etc. if u want homes choose a particular area again find out the average price, mail flyers to resident of or have them on the doors. If u r going to get in this business and do homes where peoplr reside instead of empty apts. all should be bonded and u should have insurance also u need a company name etc.
Reply:i just ran an ad in the local newspaper
Reply:Contact condominium rental agents. What about cleaning for retirement communities? Then there are the assisted care facilities.

Come to myrtle beach and help me with my house. Champagne or cold beer?
Reply:Are you an undocumented, illegal alien? If not, then you may have a problem. I'm not saying that to be funny. People that hire out those services want the cheapest labor possible.

Cleaner Job than Certified Nursing Assistant?

I'm currently taking classes towards becoming a certified nursing assistant. However, I realize that I don't want to clean after someone's poop. Is there a cleaner career alternative that's still related to nursing/health field? For instance, would adding on a nurse technician certificate result in me not having to help nursing residents use the bathroom? That's really the only part that turns me off. I want to use the experience to help me get into a nursing school.
Cleaner Job than Certified Nursing Assistant?
nope, you will still be delegated the 'poopy' jobs, i believe if you add the certificate you can do simple dressing changes, remove caths ect but no big deal. if you are gonna do anything why dont u go for your LPN? you will make really good money and then only have one year left for your RN, thats what lots of people do. i hate doing the bathroom duty too, but as an RN i dont escape it, you will still have to do it no matter what. but if you become a nurse you can go in a totally different care setting. so could you work as a home health aide too then? i dont know the difference but i work for a home care agency and we have a home heatlh aide, she isnt a nurse but she gives people their baths and gets their vitals, most people she just helps em' get dressed or take a shower, some bed baths, but not really the poop, do you have a home health care agency by you? just a thought to get you out of the nursing home setting, i dont like it either.
Reply:Hi, I work as an RN. You might want to check out some health areas that do not involve direct patient care. You might want to check out Medical Assisting. They usually work in a doctors office ,taking vital signs EKG,etc. You may also like something like medical billing and coding. I recommend that you check out a community college near you and look in to any of the health fields they have offered. What you want to do with your life is a big choice so take some time to check it out. Good luck
Reply:How about a certified medical assistant? They usually work in doctor's offices or clinics. Less poop.
Reply:use the cert and work while you put yourself thru nursing, medical, or paramedic school. talk to your instructor.

Offered job cleaning for exchange for rent.22 hours a week.My other job when under and I filed for?
You used "barter". Your cleaning was in exchange for rent. Rent has a dollar value. You needed to count this value as part of your income. By not counting it, you broke the rules. But since you did not intend to break the rules, you are allowed to appeal their decision.

Do that. Write a letter. No attorney needed. You can read the rules at www.IRS.gov..

I had a dream that I had a job as cleaning Nicole Kidman's house, what does it mean?

To dream that you are cleaning, implies that you are removing some negativity in your life and overcoming major obstacles. You are moving ahead toward a new stage in your life. In particular, if you are cleaning your house, then it signifies that you need to clear out your thoughts and get rid of your old ways and habits. You are seeking self-improvement.?Alternatively, the dream may be a metaphor that you need to "come clean" or tell the whole truth about some situation or matter.

What job should I take. Office Cleaning or Restaurant Busser

The Office cleaning pays a solid $9/hr and the busser job makes $6.55/hr plus tips (this restaurant isnt a major chain) I want to make the most money but I dont know if the busser job will pay more than 9
What job should I take. Office Cleaning or Restaurant Busser
I've been a commercial cleaner for years. The pay rate you've been offered is good, not great. The bonus to cleaning is there is limited if any supervision and no jerky customers to deal with. Also you know it's $9 for every hour you work, you may have a great night bussing tables one night and make only a little over the hourly rate the next. Being the newbie you may not even get the good shifts. I enjoy working by myself and being accountable for what I DO. If you'd really like to try bussing but the $ makes you nervous, try talking to other people in the same job or ask a waitress, usually bussers get a cut of their tips. Keep in mind you will only get a piece of what they say they made, not necessarily what they ACTUALLY made. Good luck :)Trudi
Reply:$9 gives you predictability for paychecks week to week. You can have the reliability.

The busser job... can you move up to waiting tables or working behind the bar (assuming there is a bar)? What's your take on the waitstaff's tips? How well does the place do on weekends (that's where your money is at!)?

If you like people and fun the busser job might give you more enjoyment, but the hours might suck and you will smell. There's also heavy lifting. If you like the restaurant biz at all, go for it, because you could end up in the kitchen, behind the bar, meet really interesting people in the waitstaff. Restaurant folks are pretty awesome.

The office cleaning job.... I assume will be pretty solitary, not as much fun, and no free grub.

Weigh your options, but it depends the type of personality you have. Be honest with yourself.
Reply:If the place you are going to bus at isn't a chain or high end restaurant I doubt you will get much in the way of tips. You are pretty far down

the tipping line. I would stick with the 9.00 an hour office cleaning

job.

How do I reduce swelling on my nose after a nose job and clean dry blood?

I recently had a nose job and would like to know how I can reduce the swelling on my nose and clean the dry hard, dry blood and mucus from my nose. Best answer gets 10 points!
How do I reduce swelling on my nose after a nose job and clean dry blood?
you can reduce swelling by placing an ice pack over the swollen area. do this regularly to make the swelling subside... you can clean dry blood by using warm (or tolerably hot) water and a clean soft cloth or cotton... use a cotton swab and warm water to clean mucus from your nose...
Reply:The doctor usally cleans it out you should ask him trust me!!!!The swelling with go down after 3 weeks and you will look like NEW!! The 1st and 2nd weeks you look like you got beaten up but after you will look like New!!! Trust me!!!
Reply:Ice pack, and moist q-tips
Reply:ask your doctor sweetheart
Reply:I would say that easiest way to cure this is avoid getting a nose job. Stop being such a sheep....unless you got it for medical reasons.

Is it my job to clean the mold from the apartment we're moving from?
You are required to leave the place as clean as when you got it.
Reply:No its not. Your landlord is suppose to do that. Also, I had mold in my apartment and asked the management company to clean it and they did not. I contacted the Atty Gen Office and they gave me a letter to sue them. Black mold is hazardous. If you are pregnant, or ill that stuff can make you sicker, or worse. Let him do it. You did him a favor, by not calling the health department on him.
Reply:Molds can be a health hazard. If you do decide to clean it, be sure not to let it become air borne, like spraying it with Lysol, and avoiding fast movements.

If the manager charged you for the mold, you could take him to small claims court (if you would bother). The mold is not your fault, unless you've done something to increase the moisture in your apartment, like using humidifiers.
Reply:I'm quite sure you will lose all or part of your security deposit unless you take care of it. You'll probably have to paint over it, too...so better get to it.
Reply:Be careful with the word "Black mold", as it will scare people and it may not be black mold. Trying googling some websties to help you clean it up. I think bleach was effective. Real black mold only grows in damp spaces, you probalby have something else that is black and looks like mold.
Reply:more than likely, yes, you are responsible for the clean up. I'm guessing it wasn't there when you moved in.
Reply:I would discuss it with your apartment manager to see what their expectation is. You wouldn't want problems with them over something that could be easily rectified.

I wouldn't just ignore it though, for fear that they would try to hold part of your deposit as a result.

Have a good weekend!

Reply:Retail - If you get a gig at a store you like to shop at you can also get discounts.

Restaurant - It鈥檚 a thankless job but you'll get experience. It doesn't have to be fast food. It can be a "sit down restaurant" where families or couples go. Maybe a place your friends/school mates don't frequent, as it could suck to serve them.

Junior Life Guard - Look into it at your local recreation center or local hotel.

Recreation and Parks Department - First look at it in your state and then locally.

Cashier - Lots of small stores - not chain store are willing to hire teenagers. You just have to gain their trust and keep it.

Ask your parents or other family members. Maybe they have friends that own business and they could be willing to hire a younger person. Small business love this. Only this is you might be under the microscope with this one because of the family relationship.

I got a job through my Orthdontist, he thought I was a nice kid and offered me a position...at your age anywhere coroporate won't look at you...ask everyone you know if they need help. Go around to local offices and ask if they need help filing. Ask your parents or your parents friends.

Reply:If a young person wishes to work, and gets out there and looks, they will find work. There is nothing wrong with cleaning or babysitting. It is where a lot of us start. Most of us start our working life with menial jobs that we don't like, but the money aspect lures us on. If a young person is not being handed things for no effort, they will learn just how life really works. We cannot prepare them for reality if we coddle them. If they get a crappy job, it might urge them on to finish school and "become something".

There are huge corporations who might hire a young presentable person with a good attitude to deliver mail or be a messager person..if they don't mind hiring an underage person.

Walking and babysitting dogs or cats can be a good idea. Doing someone's laundry and neatly folding it can be a good way to earn money. People in my area get about 7-8 bucks a load. Often if you volunteer at a good place and prove yourself you end up getting hired.

Go thru the phone book to get ideas.

Good luck!

Where can i look for a job in cleaning offices, etc. etc.?

There are many companies that do this - look in your yellow pages and apply to them, especially the bigger ones.

If you mean you want to start your own cleaning business, you'd have to contact potential customers and advertise. If you haven't done that type of work before, might be a good idea to get a job first with an established company so you can see how it works.

In either case, good luck.

What is the best way to clean your system of maryjane? So many jobs require a urinalysis these days.?

The detection time in urine depends on the frequency of use. One-time smokers may be safe after a few days, whereas habitual smokers may take several weeks (a month or more) to be in the clear.

THC is stored in your body's fatty tissues. If you want to burn fat and lose some of the stored THC, cardiovascular exercise is recommended; however, you should burn as little fat as possible in the days immediately preceding a test if you want to go undetected.

Do NOT rely on "system cleansing" products sold online or at smoke shops. Drink LOTS of water before your test, and take a B vitamin to give it the nice yellow color they want. Never give them your first urination of the day, and if possible, make sure the sample comes from the middle of the stream rather than the beginning or end.

Obviously, the best way to pass a drug test is to stop using substances altogether for a month or two prior to the test. Hopefully that will satisfy the Piss Police and you'll be left alone after that to do as you please. Good luck!
What is the best way to clean your system of maryjane? So many jobs require a urinalysis these days.?
do you want to spend the rest of your life smoking this garbage ? Report Abuse

Reply:ehrm..I hope you haven't smoked it for a year or more, because according to Judge Judy, it stays in your system for 8 months. But that's just in your hair i think it only stays in your body for 3 days, so - watch cartoons at home for a few days and then go get the interviews and enjoy peeing in that cup and pray no one requests a hair analysis.
Reply:The best way to clean it out? Stop smoking it!!
Reply:Drink tons of water and juice.
Reply:The body stores evidence of marijuana for several months. A hair follicle test can even tell when last you took it; as far down as it is found in the hair strand. Most of the time urinalysis is only used for immediate checking. The effects of the drug can be seen for at least 24 hours and more like 48 for urine tests. Nothing you can do about it.
Reply:zales.. look it up its about 30 bucks a pop
Reply:um how about you dont do it at all
Reply:If you go to a health food store and tell them what you are looking for they are usually pretty help full in showing you different things that work, It just all matters how much you want to spend. And from what I've been told they work.
Reply:simple. Stop smoking it.
Reply:You can't. People will tell you there are products out there, but if an employer decides to do a hair follicle test, your cooked, cause it stays in hair follicles for several years! Best bet is to stop the stuff.

Do you think it was a full time job cleaning up all the animal feces on the ark?

Creationists don't believe in evolution, so... according to them, every species that is present today existed back then, plus the millions that went extinct after Noah. So this ark must have been the size of Texas (or bigger), especially if it was to include different climate controls to keep each organism alive (like those in the arctic climates). Talk about a handyman. I doubt even he could clean up all their poop; perhaps he potty-trained the animals before the journey.

Is Engine Cleaning a scam maintenance Job? Flushing vs. Cleaning?

The guys who do my oil change wrote a note recommending their "three-part engine cleaning" a little googling around has shown that if they mean an engine flush- that that is an unnecessary and possibly damaging procedure to do to your car. Could they be talking about cleaning the outside of the engine? Would there be any legitimate reason (other than cosmetic) to do that? Or does it sound like they are trying a scam?
Is Engine Cleaning a scam maintenance Job? Flushing vs. Cleaning?
If they are talking about engine coolant flush and drain, this is a recommended maintenance item on most auto mfgs. Go to your owners manual and see what intervals they recommend. Done properly this will extend the life of your engine, radiator, hoses etc. As it removes contaminants. If they are talking of exterior of engine if not done properly you could have some major problems with you firing system etc. due to too much force with steam cleaner etc.
Reply:Its not a cosmetic thing they don't clean the out side of your enigne they clean the inside parts LOL. If they clean the fuel injectors than that's is fine I clean mine once a year. they sell this stuff called sea foam its amazing I have a 15 year old car with 175,000 miles with a V6 that still gets 20 MPG with mostly driving around town. But if they want to flush the oil pain out than yes this will mess up your engine especially if it has high mileage. What happens is that the engine flush will dislodge allot of the sludge that has build up on the bottom of your oil pain over the years and it will send it to the oil pump and clog it up which will starve the engine of oil and damage it which will cost you thousands to have fixed. if you want a clean engine than switch to synthetic oil it has the ability to clean the engine much better than regular oil and you will also see an improvement in gas mileage.

I'm starting a part time job I found through craigslist cleaning a man's house! Why did he specify "brunette"?
I think it's because the specific hair color will really make the French maid's outfit really pop. Blondes tend to fade out in pictures.

I found a petsitting job on Craigslist. They wanted to know how much experience I had, and if I do a lot of petting. Of course I do, petsitting is my side job! They were really impressed, and said they will pay me extra!

Funny enough, they wanted a brunette, too!

Which jobs out there don't require a clean shave?
There are plenty of jobs that won't require to be clean shaven, but it all depends on what you want to do. At my company we tell the guys that work here that they don't have to shave, but it's all about being professional and having a professional appearance. As long as the employer doesn't mind and you're professional in your approach to your job, then you can work almost anywhere.

Where can I get a job in the Las Vegas area that entails organizational skills and cleaning?

Construction is booming in Las Vegas and those contractors need people to clean houses and businesses after remodeling and after new home and new business construction. Most contractors can also use someone who is highly organized to help them get their business organized.

Look for contractors, remodelers, and builders in your local phone book(s), community newspaper, and on bulletin boards (both real and online, such as craigslist.org - see links below) around where you want to work. Call each of these people/businesses and offer to clean the house(s) or business(es) they're working on (when they're done) for a reduced rate (as an introductory rate - you can raise it once you get your foot in the door). Once you get rolling (and doing a great job being responsive and good at what you do) you can get a huge amount of referral business. AND you will get business from both these types of people specifically AS WELL AS the homeowners and business owners themselves.

The harder you work at communicating with builders and remodelers (calling all of them, asking questions about what they need or who else they might know to talk to, checking back with them regularly, etc.) the more work you will get. The beauty of getting these types of referrals is that the home-owning clients tend to have some money and thus be the kinds of people who hire house cleaners.

Always pay attention to what the contractor says about his/her business - does it sound like they may need some organizing help? Offer it? Let homeowners and business owners know that you not only do cleaning work, but organizing as well. Once you get a good reputation, word of mouth will take care of the rest.

Be sure to have business cards at the ready ( and be sure they are simple, easy to read, with exactly what you do described in full right there on the card). All of the above can apply if you want a 40-hour job at one employer, too, just adapt the ideas to finding that one place that you're happy working. The links below can help in both cases.

Here are four craigslist links to get you started. The first is one that posts jobs that include housecleaning and similar (you can look here for cleaning jobs AND for the names of contractors):

http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/trd/

The second one is the list for office jobs (another place to look for jobs AND specifically with contractors);

http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/ofc/;

The third is "domestic gigs" - cleaning and similar jobs:

http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/dmg/;

And the fourth is the list of "skilled trades" businesses - this is where you'll find small contractors advertising their businesses. They're just the type that would use your services:

I would also like to know if a person who has one of these types of diseases has to inform the company hired to clean, so the employees can choose whether or not they want to be exposed.

I would hate to contract an illness that would threaten my life.

Please include links or sites with your answer and thank you in advance.
What are the health hazards of a house cleaning job?
aids dies in air in about 20 seconds it needs plasma to live

hep you got to not stick ya hand in ya mouth or not touch blood

i am still waiting to find a report of a needle stick injury causing aids so whats the deal here
Reply:HIV and Hepatitis are normally contracted through sexual contact or blood to blood transfer...Simple precautions are to wear rubber gloves and a face mask..while working...I would be more concerned with cleaning chemicals...which like present a greater hazard to your health then the things mentioned above...Clorine and Ammonia do not mix...and breathing fumes of these cleaning materials are hazardous...Read the labels...more so if cleaning in close rooms with poor ventalation...Good Luck....

Does this sound reasonable for a cleaning job?

So I think I'm considering a cleaning job for a Saturday morning..

I'm in my late teens, I dont have allot of experience with this. I normally nanny.. But I love to clean and clean my own house top to bottom non stop..

I'm thinking 15/hr. with a $60 minimum for an average/small house. and a $75 dollar minimum for a large house.

I'd come late morning, Dust, Clean all windows and doors, I'd sweep, I'd do all vacuuming, I would shake all matts and small rugs out outside.

I'd then clean down the kitchen counters, and sink, and appliances.

Then I'll clean the kitchen floor, by hand!

Then I'd go upstairs, and get the bathrooms.. Windows, vaccume rooms.. ECT.

And for an extra.. $5 a time, I'd do the main sheets and pillow cases and make up the bed..

I'd also clean the cat little if they have a cat!

Oh, and I'll provide all my cleaners and such. EXCEPT a vaccume, trash bags (if i clean the trash), and a toilet brush.

So thats my basic plan..

does this sound..

Cheap?

Just right? (perfect!)

Reasonable..? (maybe a tad high.. but not bad)

Or very pricey?

And what price would you recommend if you have a problem with my price?
Does this sound reasonable for a cleaning job?
Don't forget to dust. :) I'm sure you just missed that one.

I used to clean houses....now I just clean my own.

Price sounds good but windows usually are a one month thing and an extra cost. If you really want to include that then they are lucky. Call your local molly maid or big cleaning company and ask questions and prices they charge for different things. They will probably ask you how many rooms, bathrooms and what you want done before they give you an estimate.
Reply:I guess it would depend on what area you live in. I live in Massachusetts and for your price I would hire you in a heartbeat. If you find that people are jumping at this and you are getting a lot of jobs over the next couple months I would raise the price to $20/hr to new clients. People will let you know if your prices are too high but wont if they are too low. Good Luck w/ your endeavor.

If you are in the MA area you're hired!
Reply:A friend of mine charges $15 to $20 per hour and gets it. If you want to do it on a flat rate per house, I would raise the price just a little. I would hire you in a minute, as I don't get to clean the way I like because of an arm injury. You sound like the person I need.
Reply:I would hire you. Just make sure you follow through on what you promise
Reply:Sounds pretty fair, though I think most cleaners charge a flat rate by the job, not by the hour (so you don't have the client looking over your shoulder every time you take a break.) I think I would start with a basic flat rate like $65 for a 3 bed/ 2 bath house, assuming 1 kitchen, 1 living room, and 1 dining room or den. Then add $5-$8 for each additional room. Make sure you write out the terms of your agreement, and put in a stipulation saying that rooms needing "excessive cleaning" will be charged more, so they aren't leaving the place trashed when they know you are coming.

Good Luck.
Reply:ive been cleaning for about 7 years, when i price an average size house ,i tend to charge about 15 an hour. However i let the customer provide the cleaning supplies, they already have what they usually cleanwith. It will be a lot easier on you if you dont have to lug around 20lbs of chemical cleaning supplies. make your windows a seperate job alltogether, I charge 5dollars a window, and give that a day to itself, thats a lot of work. good luck

Does your job make you do the cleaning also?

I work in a Clinic and the Dr. that I work for is too cheap to hire a cleaning team so she makes all of us do the cleaning. I don't mean our area which I don't mind doing she wants the bathrooms clean, the kitchen, the whole office vac., all the windows washed and wiped, I mean everything and our clinic is a good size. I think it's wrong because we are so consumed with our daily jobs, and we are extremely busy but when we don't have time to clean she gets angry and starts bitching. Does your job make you do this? How can we stress to her it's not only wrong because patients a lot of sometimes can be very nasty, but that we were not hired to clean. HELP!!!!
Does your job make you do the cleaning also?
It is not right. Go to your union. Complain to the labor authorities.
Reply:i say leave it alone and try to search for another job.

she should have made that information know at the time she hired you.

If finding another job does not work out, I would to ask your current boss for a pay raise for the extra work and longer work hours
Reply:is it in your job description? if not i would find another job. any clinic Ive ever worked i we had house keeping hired you are right being in the medical field is very time consuming who is more important the Pt's are you don't have time to scrub.

What can i include in a cv for a job in cleaning hotels?

Do you have experience cleaning? Hotel? House? Bedroom? Car?

The usual stuff goes first, name, address, education, brief history, why you want the job, what your qualifiactions are for the job, then a short summary of the above at the end just to remind them. Then finish by '... look forward to meeting you at interview' Sign it and date it. Don't be afraid to say you want the money and am willing to work for it. Always have a question to ask the interview panel, like "... what opportunites will there be for advancement".

You should post this on craigslist.com in your area, that is better than this site for something like that. But be careful, a lot of wierdo's in the world. Good luck and welcome to America!!

Cleaning- Job??

I was given a job as i cleaner and i have to clean these shallays, And they give me like 10 to do a day and then when im finshed they give me more, the thing is its my first job, But im not really enjoying it i am 18 and female..do you think i should quit, what would you do?
Cleaning- Job??
Well I quit mine because my boss made me clean the bathroom toilets.. I mean I signed up to be a cashier and it was my first job also.
Reply:If you don't like the job and can afford to leave it...then leave it but I think it's always better to have another job to go to before you give up the one you have...do you get paid for each chalet you clean ? make sure you are getting paid the right amount and make sure you have an understanding regarding the work you are suppose to do...don't allow them to take advantage of you just because your young.
Reply:be a barmaid and have fun on the job aqs well as getting paid you will love the atmosphere
Reply:You are getting some good advice from the others..Cleaning sucks and that's for sure. You are young and shouldn't be stuck in a dead end job like this but before you quit you need to plot your escape and look round for something better.

It will cheer you up and you will be able to face going into work knowing it's just a temporary thing. You don't need to tell anyone you are going to move on as it may jeopardise your position and you could end up losing your job.

Edit: i have just thinking more about your question.

Have you got any hobbies or talents that could give you a clue to the direction you could be taking now?

Are you articstic? Do you like animals? Were there any subjects at school that you did really well or enjoyed more than others? Do you enjoy being with people of all ages/kids/the elderly? Could you nurse? Are there any skills you know you have?

Have a long hard think about what it is you would like to do and start looking around.

Bar work is a good move,if you can find someone to take you on as a trainee, once you have the hang of it you will always have work.Having said that in the UK pubs are closing down all the time so the jobs are becoming scarce.

But the work can be fun.

Please don't get down about it. By putting this question to us i think is your first step to moving on. Whilst you are cleaning those rooms use the time to think about what you do and don't want to do and then start looking in all the papers at what's available out there.

I wish you well.

I did a cleaning job and wasn't paid for it.?

I just recently started a cleaning business so I am not completely sure on how to handle certain situations. I am not registered or insured as of yet, but I do have my business bank account set up so I can file my taxes correctly. I have been paid in full for every job I have done in the past, as soon as the job was completed. I was hired a couple weeks ago by a guy that owns a construction co. Its a LLC in his name. He hired me, I showed up with my crew, did the job, then after we finished it he said to send him an invoice by mail or email. I sent it thru email the very next day. Its been 2 weeks and no check has arrived. Now he is not returning my emails or calls. What is the best way to handle this? I have had to pay my helpers out of my own pocket so I am out a LOT of money for this problem.
I did a cleaning job and wasn't paid for it.?
Just a few thoughts and suggestions. We work with the construction industry regularly and it has been our experience that they are usually taking 60 + days (on average) to remit payments to their vendors. In the future you might consider using a triplicate copy 'work order' signed off by someone in authority (indicating that your work was completed satisfactorily on a specific date) before your work crew leaves the premises upon completion of the work. Additionally, I would add a footnote to the work order that this is an "Invoice" payable when presented and will accumulate late late fees at 10% monthly compounded if not paid in (you specify your terms by inserting the number of days you will allow). Give the customer a copy, ask for payment right then, giving them a copy of the 'work order invoice' or you can just and tell them it mus be mailed by some specific date. If the check is not received in a timely manner you can use the signed off 'work order invoice' as a legal means for collection services to get you your money.

You might also look into establishing a relationship with a credit card processor with portable equipment. Accepting credit cards means that you get paid faster but for a fee of several percent on every dollars worth of business applied to a credit card.
Reply:The fact that he is not returning your calls is a big red flag and indicated, to me, that this is not a situation of 60 day delay in pay-or he would have told you that!

Marie has the right idea and why contracts, bid %26amp; estimate forms and other paperwork and documentation are important if you want to run your business right.-see my profile for more on those.

At this point, I would send via mail an invoice then follow up in a week to 10 days with a copy of the invoice and a demand letter (which basically says pay this amount by this date). If that doesn't work-and I suspect it won't- then you can take him to small claims court.

I also might investigate whether you can put a complaint in at your state's contractor's licensing board and, if there is one, the county contractor's board.

Good Luck!
Reply:I was a janitorial business owner for 16 years. This has happened to me in the past. I let it go at the time, but now I would handle it differently. I would report him to the Better Business Bureau. I would "network" and tell all others not to do business w/ this company. And, I would get an attorney to sue him for wages unpaid.
Reply:Well you can call his office, if he has an office and ask for Accounts Payable and ask them when the bill will be paid. You can also explain your situation to them, that you are a very small business and that you paid people out of pocket and that you need that money as soon as possible. Normally on invoices they will take 30-60 days to pay you, I don't know what you put on the invoice for Payment Terms, if anything.

If you can not reach a solution this way the only other alternative is to take him to court. You would do this by obtaining a Warrant in Debt from the Clerk of the General District Court in your area. It costs money to file a Warrant in Debt, around $50.00 and then you have to go to court and explain the situation to the judge, they will issue a judgement and sometimes those are hard to collect too. Once you have a judgement you can garnishee his bank account or issue a levy which is where the Sheriff's go in and tag his possessions and sell them at public auction until you get your money. Levies and Garnishments also cost money.
Reply:Most businesses have net 30 terms, meaning they don't plan to pay until 30 days later. If you can't handle the slow cash flow, ask him for net 15. You should always negotiate this from the beginning.

You can't possibly complain to the Better Business Bureau after two weeks. Unfortunately they'll laugh you out the door. I don't like it either, but it's true.

I had a carpet cleaning company come and they did a great job, but read on please..?

All of the stains resurfaced after a few months. Are there any methods that permanently remove stains? These stains are just from muddy shoes or drink spills, but I don;t want to have to keep paying to remove them. Thanks for the help!
I had a carpet cleaning company come and they did a great job, but read on please..?
I would call the carpet cleanig company and tell them you are rreally disappointed with the results. If they are a good company they wii come back and clean your carpet for free.
Reply:The same thing happened to me a few years back.

I called the carpet cleaning co. and told them to come

back and fix it.

They said the stains were re-appearing because they were

embedded in the padding under the carpet and were

"wicking" up through the clean carpet.

Well, they cleaned it again and used a different method

to extract the stain out from the padding and it seems to have worked.

I would call them and have them clean it properly.
Reply:Well, there was an ink stain on our carpet that had been there for years. I had bought a kit of oxiclean household cleaners that came with carpet cleaner. I used this on the stain, and it was gone for good. Maybe you should try that.
Reply:There needs to be NO traffic on the Carpet until it is dry through and through, then the stains will not get pushed up as bad.
Reply:Any one of these will work as spot treatments, if the dirt that's resurfacing is bad I would first sweep your carpet to "fluff up" the fibers, then vacuum two or three times in different directions to pull out as much of the dirt as possible. Then spot treat the areas that are bad. But definitely sweep and vacuum really well first!!!

One cup of Tide with two cups of White Vinegar. Scrub the stain with this solution, rinse with cold water, blot and air dry.

Sprinkle the stain with Baking Soda, scrub gently with a wet scrub brush.

This is my personal fave it works great on just about everything!! Sugar Paste, made of sugar and water, and allowed to sit for one hour.

Did you know chewed chewing gum doesn't do a good job cleaning your keyboard?

Usually I turn it over then shake it, vacuum up whatever comes out then vacuum over the keys. Then I turn the computer off and use a damp cloth to clean the keys.

Or, of course, silly string.

There's an advert on the website, and i know that students can be cleaners after school because a friend of mine does it, but she never admits to it..? do you think she wouldn't like it if i was to get the same job as her? Only i need the money...

The advert says:

Like you say 拢50 a week is decent.

My mate also used to clean with his mum after school when he was in year 9.

If you need the money, here's an opportunity.

Most people don't have jobs right now so yeah.. try it out.

What is the worst household job? Cleaning toilets? garbage? Dishes? Other?

neither. i'm newly married and got a home of my own very recently, so i'm enjoying all the household works so far. i've seen other people who are pretty much exhausted with these, but i still don't feel anything like this. i enjoy it when my husband praises my household performances.

I guess a CD cleaning disc would do the job if you used it in your DVD player do you think?

I am not sure but based on my experience with cleaning tape drives, it has to be the same format as the DVD player (DVD cleaner). I am just guessing of course.

Reply:Ring up companies and ask if they need any cleaners, you could also advertise your services in the newspapers or hand out flyers to business.

You should also ring up the tax department and see what this means for tax purposes, it is different for each country, but earning over a certain income, you need to register as a business or trading entity and declare this as income tax. Hope that kinda helps.

My father started a cleaning business 30 years ago. Now he owns his own home and has all the money he wants. It has also given him the opportunity to give his children their first job experience. It is a very stressful thing.... he has turned into an asshole, because of the stress. He used to be a normal cool dad....
Reply:Look in the phone book and see how much competition you're facing when it comes to forming a cleaning business.

If you don't see but a few listings, then call city hall or the courthouse and ask how bids for cleaning their offices are handled.

You can get a list of all businesses in your area from you local chamber of commerce. You simply call and ask to speak to a supervisor and eventually you'll get to a person who can tell you how contracts are awarded and what they are paying the outfit that is cleaning their offices now. You do this with every business you can, so that when it's time for a renewal of their contract, you can step in and underbid them. (Try and offer to do the job for less than anyone else. This will get your foot into the door.) Unless a business has used the same cleaning service for years, it will usually always go for the lowest bid.

But you need to sit down with someone skilled in this kind of business and find out all the ins and outs.

Meanwhile, there are people everywhere that need help almost every day with something inside or outside their homes. Especially the elderly. Until you get your larger business going, you might try your hand at yard or house work. That, in itself, is a legitimate business.

Best to you.

Reply:One of the things that you might research when looking at your cleaning competition is what they offer.

Many people now are very wary of the chemicals that are used during cleaning processes. Our buildings are climate controlled and there is no airflow to flush out the, sometimes toxic, fumes.

One of our local cleaning companies are now using people and environmentally friendly products and are receiving a premium on the rates that their competition is charging.

This is maybe a niche that you can investigate. Not only that, but if you get some of your clients to join this company as customers, then you will also receive residual income from their orders.

A cleaning business is a great way to introduce people to these products, and, do you know what?....... they are cheaper per use than most of the cleaning products, filled with nasty chemicals, that you will buy in a supermarket.

Cleaning Job?

I have a cleaning job and started on wednesday the thing is its my first job and i really dont enjoy it, i dont want to let anyone down but what would happen if i just didnt go in?
Cleaning Job?
You would more than likely be fired and if you list that job on your application (job history) for a new job, a reference check could be done. If the potential employer calls the past employer for a ref. check, he could give you a bad reference and affect your chances to be hired.

If you really don't like the job, give a notice. They may not even expect you to work it. Just getting into the workforce there are a couple of things you need to know up front. First of all, you never burn bridges. You never know when you may run into these people again, or need a reference. Second, always give notice...in writing of the date you intend to be your last day. Most companies require/request 2 weeks, but you could possibly get away with a week. I would just let them know you don't think it's the job for you, but would like to give them the opportunity to replace you before you quit so you don't leave them in a bad position.

Good luck to ya!
Reply:the worse thing you can do is "just not turn in".

just speak to the boss and tell him what you"ve told us.you may have to serve a bit of notice though
Reply:Stick it out for a little while. Look for another job and when you find one, give your two week notice. It is easier to find a job when you have a job. Good Luck!!
Reply:Do the right thing and write a letter stating that you wish to terminate you employment.

They may require a one or two week notice period.
Reply:you could call in and let them know, you are not enjoying the job and therefore wont be returing to work. If not just dont turn up there get over it.
Reply:You'd let someone down.

It often takes more than a couple of days to make your mind up about a job but if you really don't like it tell your employer and then leave.

I'm pretty sure that's the only kind of work you're qualified for. If you're hot enough, I'd suggest stripping or any other job where not a lot of verbal or written communication is involved.
Reply:If your not enjoying it then yes quit. Theres plenty of other jobs including retail, barwork, or even look for an apprenticship at an hairdressers, nursary or in some sort of construction this way you can be earning money and qualifications.

I would definitely go to college in your situation though and get something behind you whilst your young - helping prepare for your future
