I had a carpet cleaning company come and they did a great job, but read on please..?

All of the stains resurfaced after a few months. Are there any methods that permanently remove stains? These stains are just from muddy shoes or drink spills, but I don;t want to have to keep paying to remove them. Thanks for the help!

I would call the carpet cleanig company and tell them you are rreally disappointed with the results. If they are a good company they wii come back and clean your carpet for free.
Reply:The same thing happened to me a few years back.

I called the carpet cleaning co. and told them to come

back and fix it.

They said the stains were re-appearing because they were

embedded in the padding under the carpet and were

"wicking" up through the clean carpet.

Well, they cleaned it again and used a different method

to extract the stain out from the padding and it seems to have worked.

I would call them and have them clean it properly.
Reply:Well, there was an ink stain on our carpet that had been there for years. I had bought a kit of oxiclean household cleaners that came with carpet cleaner. I used this on the stain, and it was gone for good. Maybe you should try that.
Reply:There needs to be NO traffic on the Carpet until it is dry through and through, then the stains will not get pushed up as bad.
Reply:Any one of these will work as spot treatments, if the dirt that's resurfacing is bad I would first sweep your carpet to "fluff up" the fibers, then vacuum two or three times in different directions to pull out as much of the dirt as possible. Then spot treat the areas that are bad. But definitely sweep and vacuum really well first!!!

One cup of Tide with two cups of White Vinegar. Scrub the stain with this solution, rinse with cold water, blot and air dry.

Sprinkle the stain with Baking Soda, scrub gently with a wet scrub brush.

This is my personal fave it works great on just about everything!! Sugar Paste, made of sugar and water, and allowed to sit for one hour.
