Cleaning Job?

I have a cleaning job and started on wednesday the thing is its my first job and i really dont enjoy it, i dont want to let anyone down but what would happen if i just didnt go in?

You would more than likely be fired and if you list that job on your application (job history) for a new job, a reference check could be done. If the potential employer calls the past employer for a ref. check, he could give you a bad reference and affect your chances to be hired.





If you really don't like the job, give a notice. They may not even expect you to work it. Just getting into the workforce there are a couple of things you need to know up front. First of all, you never burn bridges. You never know when you may run into these people again, or need a reference. Second, always give notice...in writing of the date you intend to be your last day. Most companies require/request 2 weeks, but you could possibly get away with a week. I would just let them know you don't think it's the job for you, but would like to give them the opportunity to replace you before you quit so you don't leave them in a bad position.

just speak to the boss and tell him what you"ve told us.you may have to serve a bit of notice though
Reply:Stick it out for a little while. Look for another job and when you find one, give your two week notice. It is easier to find a job when you have a job. Good Luck!!

It often takes more than a couple of days to make your mind up about a job but if you really don't like it tell your employer and then leave.
