It's pretty easy. Go down to your nearest Home Depot and go to their flooring department. There you should find a acid called sulfamic acid, it will be in a small container(yellow and orange), get you only one, that's as much as you need. While you are there pick you up some or a grouting sponge and a hard brisel brush and maybe a 5 gallon bucket if you do not have one already. Now go home and read the directions on how to mix your acid to water ratio. Once you have that much figured out, mix your acid and water. Remember the A%26amp;W rule, always mix acid into water. Once they are mixed, sponge the acid/water mix onto the areas where you have the white cement. Get a whole lot on the tiles to where the acid/water mix is sitting on top. Now, let the acid/water sit on the tiles for about 4 to 5 minites. Once that time has gone by, get your hard brisled brush and start scrubbing the cement off, this should be knocking off any cement the acid/water didn't get off by itself. Once you are done scrubbing, wipe off all your acid/water and then with a clean bucket of water sponge the whole area taking off all the acid and cement deposits left behind. Honestly if it was me, i would be calling the workman and telling him to get his butt down there to clean it. you didnt pay him to make a mess. thats what I do all the time. I don't pay till they clean their mess and did their job right.
