Ok! I'm in a hurry .. is my little make-shift 'cleaning' gonna do the job? Or do I need to buy new laces?

Ok! It's Halloween and I'm in a super hurry.

I've got SO much to do today that I don't have time to run to the store to buy shoe laces.

I have a pair of white tennis shoes that are clean but the laces have black circles on them from the shoe lace holes. So I just Spray N Washed EVERY part of the shoe laces and through them in the wash on a warm cycle (with detergent.)

Will that rid the black off my laces?

Or do I need to buy new laces?

Add a little bleach, that'll get them white I promise :)
Reply:yes, I understand, I also don't want him to feel left out.. But maybe if he asks, or when he asks, we'll make an arrangement similar to yours.. But since he's still so young.. Hubby and I haven't really talked about it.. We'll see when the time comes.. Report Abuse

Reply:Oh and I wasn't trying to be a b*tch or judge you.. I was just curious :) thanx for explaining, even though you absolutely didn't have to!

Oh and either way your halloween story was really cute! I loved it!! Have a blessed day!! Report Abuse

Reply:Bleach them but don't leave the bleach on to long or they will turn yellow. Rinse after bleaching with water. Stick them in the dry for a fast dry.
Reply:It might work, you could always try to bleach them.
