What is a dry cleaners? How and where do people find a clean pressed white shirt for a job?

Where can you find a perfectly clean and wrinkless white button down shirt for the nature of a job?


This seems to be a problem because; after going to Ross, K-mart, and EVERY other store in town


every shirt is completely crushed full of wrinkles a few stains and people are done looking through clothing stores their hands have gotten the edges of the collars greyish looking etc...


Curious: after you find a very nice clean white shirt


how do you make sure it is TOTALLY TOTALLY free of wrinkles every day for work? So can a dry cleaners do this for you?

I agree with Helga. Sure, any dry cleaners can press it for you to look perfect, but you are paying money constantly for that. Personally, I iron most of my dress shirts.





Also, keep in mind that when people where white dress shirts to work everyday, they almost always have more than just 1 white dress shirt. This way, if you have 5 shirts, you only need to iron once a week and you'll have perfectly wrinkle-free shirts for work everyday! :)

Reply:You can either learn how to iron or take it to the dry cleaners to have it pressed. Normally get it back the next day, and will run about1.25-5 dollars to get it done. I would opt for learning how to iron.

You must stink like hell. Hope you shower daily and wear deodorant.


How about buying at least 10 shirts and laundering and ironing them. Don't forget the spray starch for the collars and cuffs. What about your pants and suit? Never wore any before? Didn't you have a suit dry cleaned?

By the way who buys dress shirts in K-Mart?


Go to a store that sells quality goods. I buy dress shirts at a men's clothing store, more money, but higher quality and they last for years.
