How do you clean up the nasty film left from a professional fog job for cockroaches?

We moved into a new house and the idiots that left here not only left items they no longer needed they also left their roommates "roaches"! We had a professional bug guy come in and it worked wonderfully! However, there is this thick, oily film all over EVERYTHING! Any suggestions on how to get this crap off of everything? Any ideas will be tried and much appreciated!!!!!!! :-) Have a blessed day!

Call the exterminator that did the job and ask them what you need to do. They should be able to help you. Other than that, get out the rags and cleaning solutions and go at it.
Reply:You will probably need something with a degreaser in it. For kitchen area, I would suggest Dawn dish soap and water, use one of those gentle scouring sponges. Should do the trick. For other areas of the house, I would use a stronger degreaser cleaner, there are many on the market and easily found at K-Mart or Wal-Mart, Loews or Home Depot. For stubborn spots you can use a paste make with a little baking soda and water. (Baking soda won't scratch the surfaces).

I feel bad for you, you've got a BIG JOB on your hands! Best of luck....
