In your opinion do you think NASCAR did a bad job at keeping the track clean at Las Vegas?

Also why didn't NASCAR red flag the race for debris while they were cleaning the Stay-Dry from the track instead of runing off laps under a yellow flag caution.

i say they didn't do too good of a job at cleaning up the track. i saw the speedy dry on the track before the race even started. i had thought something had happen before the start of the show only to be told by (i think DW) that it was speedy dry from the Nationwide series the night before. you'd think they would have that all cleaned up by the time the green flag dropped for the Sprint cup series.
Reply:well it showed the stay dry and I think it was DW who remarked that you could see it then you could also see the drivers swerving to miss it. Jimmie Johnson wasn't so lucky.

They did red flag it after the big wreck. I think they started it too early under yellow after cleaning it up.

i recall one of the twins asking what a red flag meant...so thats why I am thinking that they did red flag the race.

Hmmmmmmm...
Reply:They did a lousy job of cleaning the track. That's what Jimmie Johnson got into and caused him to crash. Yes, they should have red flagged to clean the track. BUT-because FOX has network "commitments" after the race, (TV re-runs are more important), they run them under yellow. NASCAR has definitely gone down the tubes. That is one reason ESPN was created back when.
Reply:if they had leftovers from the night before, then IMO they did not do a good job cleaning up. I don't leave tonight's leftover dinner on the table for tomorrow night...
Reply:They did just fine.

I couldn't see any left down there after they were done cleaning it.
