Interview for a cleaning job?
The questions will be pretty much the same as any job interview. They are looking for someone who can follow directions well. Everyone has their own method to cleaning, a company sets its way and has everyone do it the same way. Just like would you think to dust the tops of coat hangers, companies require it. Do you touch things on a desk that someone left there to clean under them - no you never touch any papers on a desk ever. A lot of the questions are common sense, but some are dependent on a companies training. If this is at a hotel lets say, they are looking for fast and effective cleaning, vacuum drapes, under beds, make sure the dressers are empty, sheets on beds made, dusting of lamps, bathrooms clean, tub walls wiped each time room is cleaned (they all love it if you know this one), balcony windows wiped each cleaning. Things like that. Good luck. Relax, no one can predict the questions, believe in yourself and that you can learn their techniques.
Reply:If you are reliable, hard working, have cleaning experience, are flexible, work well on your own and in a team, say yes to all of these.
Reply:They will ask what kind of cleaning experience you have/if you know how to use cleaning chemicals/if you are allergic to any cleaning agents and more
Reply:I do consulting for a cleaning company. What they will care about more than anything is your dependability. they can teach you the rest.
