Reply:Have you tried JOBCENTRE PLUS online website? You do not need to sign up or anything. Select GENERAL in the jobs slot and then add such as window cleaner etc. Other ways of finding window cleaning work are to check out THOMPSONS local telephone directory - look up windowcleaners etc.
Reply:My family live in Kent, they always have trouble finding window cleaners...
Look in the yellow pages or Thomson local and im sure you can either find a company and apply to work for them, or advertise yourself as self employed.
Reply:buy a bucket and sponge and start up on your own
Reply:a good place to search would be on yahoo.
Reply:ask chavs they will know.
Reply:are you sure everyone has a window cleaner? I couldn't get one for years. In the end I happened to see one cleaning windows down the road so I chased him to his van and made him come back and do my windows! try a mail-drop - get some leaflets printed (doesn't have to cost too much) and drop them through every door in the area. If no-one phones you you've only lost the price of the mailshot, but I'm sure they will, and even if it's only a few jobs, it's money you wouldn't otherwise have had.
Reply:Try Kent Cleaners on Telephone: 01304 364745
Reply:Why not ask one of those people who u have ask if they want a w/cleaner for the contact number of thier w/cleaner and find out if they would be interested in taking you on if not then ask them if they know any-one who would like a second hand man for their rounds.
Reply:Buy a shammy and a bucket and ladder and go self employed,
Good luck from Dortmund Germany
Reply:ADVERTISE
Reply:try an ad in local paper.
Reply:window cleaning is now illegal and should only be done by professionals with the correct safety equipment. I think that your going to need a lot of practise to get as good as a professional, u fat lazy shithead
Reply:get some business cards made up
Reply:Go window shopping that might help
Reply:TRY COMMERCIAL COMPANIES, HIGH STEET ETC
Reply:Knock on doors(show a friendly a manner), Put a card in shop window ads.
Reply:go self employed mate .do your own round ,start looking at new houses being built and approach the show house on the estate.also do some cold calling and collect names .try small offices and shops,i am sure if you do this you will build up a good business.every one needs a w/cleaner.but try the new builds ,best of luck
Reply:If you have looked everywhere then there is no point for you to look any further. Change target!!
Reply:if you are prepared to travel my windows need cleaning in Birmingham and i will pay you a tenner for front and back.
Reply:Without poaching someone Else's round!!!!!!!!!!! try putting some leaflets through doors, Ad's in shop windows, and if you're serious, then maybe get a little space in your local paper or free ad's. Best of luck, but remember your woolies and radio. Should imagine it gets cold and lonely
Reply:If you manage to get a few houses by knocking at the doors then make a GOOD job of the windows and word will creep along the houses. Give it a go, you can only go in one direction if people like your work
Reply:try placing an advert in your local paper stating what you are and saying your available for work..or visit local companies and ask to see the manager and enquire as to if they require what service you have to offer them and your rates..
Reply:Put leaflets in homes, and shops, and offices.. and knock on windows,,
Reply:you have to buy someones round off them - or go onto a nerw housing estate before the window cleaners move in
Reply:You can buy rounds from people if they are selling them if you have any savings. You will earn far more this way. My mate's brother has a round and does 拢1000 a week! Much better than 拢250 you'll earn in wages. Approach the bank maybe for a small business loan?
If still no good your best bet is putting your CV on monster/total jobs/jobsite to let people search for you. Also search for jobs on these websites.
Good luck!
Reply:you don't have to buy a round you could get ripped off by a scam leaflets cards in shop windows if you know people living in area why not clean there windows even if its for free it will be free advertising as you can bet passing people will ask you to do theirs price up competition and don't under price yourself people want good service and reliability not just the cheapest good luck
