Tony Blair was not, and his dishonest grasping hangers on were not, fit to clean out the litter tray of the Downing Street cat. (which was 'done in' secretly, by his hideous fat-headed wife).
He was sent by God as a punishment on the country, and particularly on the Conservative Party, for its fickle dismissal of Maggie, and its sad embarrassing affair with John Major.
Did Tony Blair do a good job cleaning up the rubbish left by Thatcher/Major?
On the whole I'd have to say no he didn't. He had 10 years with a large majority in the Commons. He had the chance to make radical changes but did nothing of much import. The only thing Blair will be remembered for is dragging us kicking and screaming into an illegal, fake, manufactured war knowing damned well there were no WMDs in Iraq. Now he's got a job as a peace envoy to the Middle East........oh my god, the irony is DEAFENING. I'd rather him out there though to be honest, I'm sick to death of that cheesey false rictus smile.....bleh! Makes my skin crawl
Reply:I don't recall that Mr. Toothy's economic policies were a Major change -- do you?
