Laundry, Ironing, Cleaning, Shopping, Cooking, Gardening... Which domestic job do you hate the most?

Strange as it may seem I enjoy them all, particularly ironing, I find it very relaxing. I am a 51 year old male %26amp; have 2 sons, 21 %26amp; 22, living at home, I do all the washing, ironing %26amp; cooking for them. The reason for this is that my wife died last year %26amp; I do all of this to try to maintain her very high standards, I think our boys have enough to cope with without worrying about household chores.


Is that strange??

Doing dishes and cleaning the bathroom.
Reply:cooking- im s**t at it! dont have a garden thank god, dont mind ironing too much.
Reply:I really dislike all of them, except perhaps cooking! And, that's only when I feel like doing it! Out of the list though, I think I hate ironing the most.

I am waiting for the day when a self cleaning shower cubical exists - waiting and praying.
Reply:Dishwashing. Especially when there are pots and pans from yesterday to do!

Reply:Almost all of them. I have a lady who cleans for me. No, I am not a lazy tart, I need the cleaning done, and she needs the money. I like gardening, I do that myself, and shopping, and cooking, especially when my friends come for dinner. I do the laundry and only iron things when I need them.
Reply:Ironing fo rthe simple reason that I am just not good at it,I will iron my clothes if I have to but really donnot have the patience in ironing out all the creases or the time either,otherwise love sweeping and sorting out cupboards

Reply:If I stop to think how much I hate, then I just want to not do anything. Probably ironing, I used to iron every thing. Now I just throw the wrinkled object (excluding myself) into the dryer with a really damp wash cloth.
Reply:Cleaning the toilet! And unloading and storing shopping after a week's shop.

half of them hated ironing too.





I tried to iron myself thinking it could be a relaxing experience.


When it comes to shirts it's a bit hard to enjoy I guess.





anyway I never tried ironing again. :)
