It will be ok, when my mom was pregnant with me she smoked, drank and did some drugs, and I turned out ok, then my dad dropped me on my head and once left me in a department store. Still ok here

Being active whilst pregnant is meant to be the best thing for you. Don't do any lifting sofa's or moving heavy objects tho. You will probably find nearer the end of the pregnancy hoovering or leaning over the bath will become difficult and cause a few aches and pains. I believe its just about being sensible, until you start to show and have a big tummy in front of you, it's easy to forget your carrying a tiny life inside you.

Good luck
Reply:You do need to be careful of certain chemicals. 3 known chemicals that may harm the baby are methyl mercury, lead, and polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs). You also should be cautious around all other industrial chemicals.
Reply:Well-This is something you really need to ask your OB.Certain products can be harmful to breath in-especially during the 1st trimester while the baby is doing most of it's developing.
Reply:just don't use harmful chemicals, and don't change anyones cat liter box. it's actually better for you during labor. because it keeps you in shape and active.
Reply:if you do cleaning with toxic chemicals, then you are breathing in the chemicals into your body, which will of course harm the baby. Talk to your boss about getting natural cleaning products to clean.
Reply:yah concern is on the chemicals but as per the work load, i guess not until u over tired yourself and you carry heavy things.
Reply:Some chemicals can so you should talk to your ob to see what you should do.
Reply:My wife worked right up to the day she went in labor. Don't inhale bleach and you'll be fine. Work makes labor easier.
Reply:Some of the chemicals will harm the baby. My mother had a miscarriage by cleaning the bathroom.
Reply:My wife and I run a cleaning business, she is also 7 or 8 wks pregnant, if you clean apartments for new tenants, then stay away from sodium hydroxide (lye) it is commonly found in your oven cleaners....but don't get all freaked out about doing your job, ok? If you work for a janitorial service, yes you need to make sure to wear rubber gloves and at least a paper mask to keep from breathing the fumes, your o.b. doesn't have the slightest idea about the chemicals we work with in our profession. Your best bet is your instincts...follow them, because they are really all ya got now-a-days.
Reply:It depends on the chemicals. If you are an American http://www.osha.gov/ is the agency responsible for workplace safety and they will tell you if any of the chemicals you use are harmful.

Not your doctor, you think your doctor keeps track of the millions of chemicals out there? Not to mention your doctor does not have access to proprietary formulas to even know what is in most cleaners.
